The Senior Managers and Certification Regime, introduced by the PRA and the FCA, requires Senior Management Function Holders to achieve prescribed aims, and to be able to show if asked, that they have taken reasonable steps to discharge their personal responsibilities in running their Firm.

This is especially challenging for non – executive directors who are not engaged fulltime in the Firm.

SMRsafe is a simple and easy to use system which identifies for the Non Executive Director Function Holders what is expected of them within the Rules, offers ways to meet the regulatory requirements and is a means to keep a permanent personal record to evidence that they have taken reasonable steps.

It is available to be used on an individual basis by function holders, or by the Firm as a whole as part of their governance controls.
